Training course content

The five-day intensive training is divided into two parts. The first three days are dedicated to basic training, which is intended for beginners. The fourth and fifth days are dedicated to training for advanced users. The third option is a complete five-day course, where participants learn about all the system's features, from basics to advanced functions.

Basic training course

The basic course allows you to get acquainted with the fundamentals of using the Reliance SCADA system. Trainees will go through every part of the system and learn how to use all of its essential functions for creating visualization projects.

Length: 3 days

Discount on licenses:

Trainees will get either a 30% discount on any development license or a 15% discount on any runtime license for Reliance SCADA.

Day 1

Introduction to Reliance, basic concepts, installation, demo applications, creating the first application, devices (PLCs), tags, alarms/events, import of pictures, designing a visualization window, users, access rights and restrictions, scripts for data simulation, trends, real-time trends, data tables, reports, actions, recipes.

Day 2

Copying and duplicating objects (devices, data tables, trends, etc.), text replacement of component properties, component types and examples of using components, scripts (basics), IP cameras, text messages, notifying of alarms/events via email and text messages, tag kinds, special internal tags, export/import of project parts, license policy.

Day 3

Communication drivers, connecting to an OPC server, virtual keyboard, multilanguage applications, project diagnostics, data structures and window templates (basics), import of data structures and tags, network applications (basics), automatic project updates, relational databases (basics), exporting a project for remote users (introduction to thin clients), end of the training course, questions, discussion.

Advanced training course

This course is intended for those who have completed the basic course. Trainees will learn how to use the Reliance SCADA system's advanced features that are needed for large-scale network projects. Among other things, they will also be shown in detail how to create scripts and custom reports.

Day 1

Relational databases (advanced), custom reports, scripts (advanced), data structures and window templates (advanced), network applications (advanced), redundancy (server–server, client–server), Postmort, multi-monitor applications, window records, filtering alarms/events based on groups, Data Grid and Data Tree components.

Day 2

Data servers and thin clients (Web Client, Smart Client), data specific to thin clients, thin clients and scripts, Reliance Server as a Windows service, Reliance OPC UA Server, Maatrix, auxiliary tools and utilities, end of the training course, questions, discussion.

Complete training course

The complete training course for the Reliance SCADA system is divided into 5 days. Trainees will learn about all Reliance's functions from the basics to the advanced features. They will also acquire skills in creating complex visualization projects while using all the possibilities of the Reliance SCADA system.
