If you already have Reliance 5 installed on your computer and you wish to update it, use the same procedure as if it were a new installation (see the instructions below). It is not necessary to manually remove the previously installed version prior to running the installation (it will be removed automatically). If you are a registered user, please download the installation files of the latest version from the Members Section.
To download the file, click the appropriate Download button in the Download section. Then, follow the instructions described in the form that appears next. If you are logged in as a registered user, the download of the desired file will start immediately. To download the file, you will need about 550 MB of free space on your hard disk.
The installation procedure is the same for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Reliance. However, these two versions cannot be installed at the same time. Reliance 4 and Reliance 5, on the other hand, can be installed and run concurrently.
To install Reliance, you will need at least 750 MB of free space on your hard disk. Run the relixxxsetup.exe program from the folder containing the unpacked files and complete the installation steps below.
Important: In order for Reliance to be fully functional, it requires a license key. If the development environment or the runtime software is run without a license key, it acts as the so-called trial version, which is limited to 25 data points. For more information, please go to the Licensing of Reliance 5 Web page.
Read the license agreement carefully. Then, activate the option I accept the terms in the license agreement and click the Next button.
