Reliance 4 Combi Package

Reliance 4 Combi Package is a keenly priced package of licenses for the Reliance Design development environment and the corresponding runtime software. It exists in two versions, Desktop and Enterprise. A license for both the development environment and the runtime software is stored in the same license key.

There are two main advantages of using Reliance 4 Combi Package. The first advantage is that you can run the development environment and edit a visualization application on remote computers by connecting to the user’s remote desktop. The other one, as far as a one-off application is concerned, is that it is not necessary to buy a separate license for the development environment. Once the application is created, the respective license key is only available for use on the end user’s computer.

Reliance 4 Combi Package Desktop

Reliance 4 Combi Package Desktop is a package of licenses for Reliance 4 Design Desktop (development environment), Reliance 4 Control, and Reliance 4 View. Any communication drivers that are not free of charge are not part of the Combi Package license. The required drivers must be purchased together with the Combi Package license. The Desktop version is intended for creating a visualization application of type 1 computer – any number of devices. A device can be a PLC (programmable logic controller), telemetry system, or another I/O device type. This version does not allow you to create network applications and applications intended for thin clients (Reliance 4 Web Client and Reliance 4 Smart Client). Thus, the resulting application only allows for communication between a single computer and any number of devices.

Reliance 4 Combi Package Enterprise

Reliance 4 Combi Package Enterprise is a package of licenses for Reliance 4 Design Enterprise, Reliance 4 Control, Reliance 4 View, Reliance 4 Server, and Reliance 4 Control Server. Any communication drivers that are not free of charge are not part of the Combi Package license. The required drivers must be purchased together with the Combi Package license. This package is intended for creating a network visualization application with thin client support and running the application in the runtime software on the same computer.
