Winners of the Reliance Success Story Awards 2009

Shortly before Christmas 2009, the Reliance Team announced the competition for the Reliance Success Story Awards 2010. The original deadline, which was February 28, 2010, has been extended several times because of great interest from competitors.
In total, thirteen very interesting installations have been registered for the competition. Therefore, it was not easy to decide which three installations to find as the most interesting. After a detailed study of all registered descriptions, the competition was finally evaluated last week. The whole team of the Reliance SCADA/HMI system participated in this evaluation. Each committee member voted for the three most interesting applications. Then all votes were counted and evaluated.
Evaluation criteria
- Field of application
- Benefit to end users
- Installation range (number of data points, number of licenses)
- Graphic design
- Image documentation included with the description (screenshots, photographs of control rooms, production plants, production lines, etc.)
- Data connection with other information systems used by customers (ERP, MES, CRM, etc.)
- Use of thin clients
