December 10, 2014 | Reliance SCADA
The Reliance SCADA system was presented by the Mallol Asetyc company at the 17th edition of the MATELEC trade fair in Madrid from October 28 to 31. Mallol Asetyc (a member of the Dicomat-Asetyc Group), which is active in Spain and Portugal, is a sales representative partner of Reliance.
We are happy to observe that many visitors to the trade fair were interested in the Reliance SCADA/HMI system and in the way how to connect it to WAGO PLCs and to devices from other manufacturers via OPC. In addition, hundreds of Reliance leaflets were given out during the trade fair. More people now know that the Reliance SCADA software is economical (licenses start from 25 data points) and powerful for industrial processes and building automation.
At a crowded news conference, IFEMA – the organizing institution – confirmed that, compared to the previous edition in 2012, the number of visitors to the booths representing the trade fair’s three main sectors (automation components, electronic components, and lighting) increased by 20 % to more than 37,000 visitors from 72 countries.
What is more, the number of exhibitors increased significantly, reaching an impressive 547 participants from 23 countries. Thanks to the new concept of the event, over 70 technical meetings, tours, and open events provided a complete profile of visitors, including 1,068 real estate owners/managers, 3,698 trade professionals, 900 persons from the hotel industry, and more than 3,000 people coming from the building automation and energy efficiency industries.
