Sending email messages from Reliance SCADA using Gmail

July 27, 2022 | Reliance SCADA

Today, you can no longer sign in to your Google Account from less secure third-party devices, i.e., from those that only require your username and password.

To solve this, you will need to sign in to your Google Account.

What to do

Go to your Google Account first and then follow the instructions below:

1. Turning on 2-Step Verification

It is a standard procedure described in Google Help. Your login name and password will be required.

The easiest way of doing it is to use a cell phone – phone number.

Once 2-Step Verification is turned on, the App passwords option will be available.

You will enter the generated password in the outgoing email settings in Reliance Desing's Project Structure Manager.
