How to install Reliance 4 on Windows Server 2012 R2

Before installing Reliance 4, .NET Framework 3.5 must be added as a server feature (if this feature has not been added yet). To do that, use Server Manager.

Instructions

Open Server Manager.
Choose Dashboard on the left.
Click Add roles and features (this will bring up the Add Roles and Features Wizard).
Continue by clicking Next until server features can be configured (on the left, Features will be selected).
Activate the .NET Framework 3.5 Features option.
Complete the wizard.

Only now can you install Reliance 4.

Note:

Some parts of the Reliance 4 system require .NET Framework. This framework is part of the Reliance 4 system's installer. However, the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system does not allow applications to install .NET Framework – it must be added as a server feature.
