How to resolve a problem when switching between keyboard languages

In isolated cases, a problem occurs when switching between keyboard languages in Windows XP. The error has an impact on running applications (including Reliance modules) – these must be rebooted. See below for how to remedy the problem.

1. In Windows, open the Regional and Language Options panel.
2. Go to Languages.
3. Click the Details button.
4. Go to Advanced.
5. Activate the Compatibility Configuration > Extend support of advanced text services to all programs option.
6. Reboot Windows.
