Such messages are displayed at runtime if the License Service is used by the Reliance SCADA/HMI system to verify a license without being started or registered. The registration and startup of the License Service are performed by Reliance's installer.
In most cases, the License Service is not running, so it should only be started.
Set the License Service's Startup type property to Automatic (Delayed Start). This type of startup guarantees that the License Service is started after turning on or restarting the computer.
If the License Service is not registered as a Windows service, we recommend that you reinstall the Reliance SCADA/HMI system.
To register the License Service, you can also use the install.bat file located in the root folder of the service (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\GEOVAP\LicenseService).
The License Service allows verifying licenses after the startup of Reliance's modules using Remote Desktop Connection. If you do not plan to use a remote desktop, you can deactivate verifying licenses through the License Service by selecting Reliance Design > Tools > Environment Options > License > Direct access to license key.
Beginning with version 4.7.4, the License Service can be managed directly from the Reliance Design development environment.
