Web Client – Improved IP camera support

June 1, 2011

Previously, it only displayed the IP camera symbol that functioned as a link to the camera's Web server.

The image could only be displayed in a Web browser window. The Web client can now display the current image from an IP camera directly in a visualization window.

The image is periodically updated. The update rate can be configured in the Options dialog.

The camera can be controlled using the mouse in a similar way as from the runtime software. By clicking the mouse on any place in the image, you can make the camera pan or tilt so that the place would appear in the center of the image. By scrolling the mouse wheel, you can zoom in or zoom out. Further commands (e.g. change the focus, save the current image to the clipboard or a file) are available in the popup menu.
