In 2013–2014, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was installed by the Ukrainian company ETA in Drohobych, Ukraine, to visualize and control drinking water supplies from wells as part of the first stage of the pumping and distribution of drinking water to the water supply network.
Tecomat Foxtrot is used as the control system. Each well is equipped with a Foxtrot CP-1005 PLC to monitor the level of drinking water in the well and to turn on/off the pump for the central water tank. All data from individual water sources is transmitted wirelessly (GPRS) to the control room. The Reliance SCADA/HMI system on the operator's PC is intended for displaying the data in real time and storing it for future use or for solving problems with drinking water supplies. The operator can easily monitor the state of all pumps, quantity of drinking water, and service work requests. All available information can be used for other tasks related to the operation of the waterworks, including water consumption invoicing. Based on this information, bills are sent to consumers.
Try the Reliance SCADA/HMI system on several example projects or download the installer of the trial version for free.
