In 2014, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was implemented in Slovakia to monitor and remotely control power generation and consumption and to capture data from different producers of electrical energy.
To optimize the generation and consumption of electrical energy, there are sources and appliances that can be controlled from remote locations depending on the entire group's deviation and a system deviation.
A greater amount of process data from different sources must be gathered to successfully perform the optimization.
The Reliance SCADA system is installed at two customer sites to provide communication with a cogeneration unit and a steam turbine via the Modbus protocol. In addition, it allows setting input parameters, displaying the current status, calculating statistics, and showing reports. Customers can access the data via Reliance 4 Smart Client.
Try the Reliance SCADA/HMI system on several example projects or download the installer of the trial version for free.
