Sneznik Ski Resort is situated in a beautiful natural environment in the shadow of Kralicky Sneznik (1,424 meters above sea level) at the village of Dolni Morava. It is a traditional winter ski resort. In the spring of 2010, almost on a greenfield site, construction began on a new modern area providing all-year service. It has become an ideal place for leisure time and vacation activities for families with children and other guests.
As part of the first construction phase, a new snowmaking system was installed. To control and visualize the pumping system and water supply for the snow guns, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was installed on the main control room's PC.
Operating data and trend charts including the weather station data are displayed in well-arranged visualization windows. The system also allows for remote access to the control PC and the display of visualization windows from anywhere in the world. This function is used by the resort manager. A visualization window can be freely displayed in the Web browser on any PC connected to the Internet. In the spring of 2011, Mobile Client licenses will be available, which will make it possible to display the visualization project on PDA devices used by the pumping station operating staff.
