Reliance reporting at the Dutch company Vice Versa

Vice Versa is a Dutch warehousing and transportation company headquartered in the city of Oss.

In the summer of 2022, the company decided to improve their refrigeration control system by adding new reporting features to it.

Control system

To upgrade the existing Danfoss system, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was chosen for its high-quality reporting functions and Danfoss Communication Driver.

The Reliance SCADA system is supposed to allow:

• Selecting a period for a report
• Selecting temperatures to be shown in the report
• Sending the report by email in the PDF and Excel formats
• Displaying the lowest, average, and highest temperatures in the selected period
• Displaying the selected period in a trend
• Displaying temperatures for each 15-minute cycle of the selected period in a table
• Displaying the total energy consumption in the selected period

All the above requests are fulfilled in the developed Reliance SCADA application and all the data is stored so that it can be exported in the CSV format for multiple purposes.

The challenge of this project was to work with the Danfoss equipment and the new Danfoss driver. Thanks to the fantastic support of the Reliance Team, the collaborative effort was successful!
