Visualization and control of gas consumption at a customer site in Slovakia

In 2014, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was implemented for a customer in Slovakia to monitor and control gas consumption.

In addition to a gas meter and a gas-volume conversion device, the customer site is equipped with a device that is intended for downloading and logging data to an external database. This data is used by the Reliance SCADA system, for example, for computing an estimate of the daily maximum or for heating value conversion. The resulting data is presented to the end user in the form of HTML reports through Reliance 4 Smart Client. Foremen and operators display the visualization project through Reliance 4 Web Client (Java Web Start).

Smart Client allows the customer to monitor gas consumption in real time and display daily and monthly reports, which are used for the purpose of invoicing, on a tablet, smartphone, or in a Web browser.
