Visualization and control of the ZORLU-GAZDAŞ gas distribution pipeline system in Turkey

GAZDAŞ is one of the largest private gas distribution companies in Turkey. It provides natural gas to the cities of Lüleburgaz, Kırklareli, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Çerkezköy, Gaziantep, and Kilis in two areas (Thrace and Gaziantep).

Thrace has about 250,000 natural gas consumers and Gaziantep approximately 190,000 consumers. There are more than 25 A-type gas pressure reducing and metering stations and more than 500 industrial consumers in both areas. The stations are equipped with different types of RTU devices, flow computers, gas chromatographs, and electronic volume correctors with communication media like DSL or GPRS. Additionally, the AVE and Reliance SCADA systems are used for their metering and billing systems.

The metering and billing systems are integrated with SAP IS-U (billing and CRM) and Reliance SCADA alarms are integrated with Infor's workflow management system.
