Reliance SCADA at NEZA Pelhrimov

NEZA Pelhrimov is a Czech family-owned engineering company specializing in the custom manufacturing of stainless steel furniture and equipment for the food service industry, as well as for use in healthcare and construction.

In 2025, the company opened a new production facility equipped with state-of-the-art technical devices, including smart electrical systems. Its core is a Tecomat Foxtrot CP-2000 unit while visualization is handled by the Reliance SCADA system.

The system controls and monitors the following areas:

1. Measurement and control facility

Heat-pump control integration – Modbus TCP/IP communication
Automatic top-up for the heating system
Easy switching between heating and cooling modes depending on the season

2. Heating and cooling of buildings

Combination of underfloor heating and ceiling panels
Condensation sensors (condition monitoring)

3. Lighting

Standard ON/OFF light fixtures (some sections)
DALI-controlled light fixtures (offices)
Lighting control via buttons or C-WS touch controllers with LED indicators
Production-facility lighting – centralized control and local controllers in industrial design

4. Access control system

MIFARE chip readers in ABB ZoNi design (radio-frequency identification in offices)
Durable Wiegand readers (used in the production facility)

5. Energy consumption metering

Sub-meters (the complex's main consumption) – displayed as well-arranged trends in the Reliance system with the option to export data to the CSV format

6. Ventilation

Offices – heat recovery units on each floor
High-traffic areas (showers, bathrooms) – relative humidity sensors
Design office – air quality sensor (CO₂)
Production area – central exhaust vents

7. Shading devices

C-WS wall-mounted controllers (production area – controlled from a central location, other areas – controlled via local controllers)
Automatic shading in the event of interior overheating

9. Electronic security system

Operators can control all key parts of the system via a mobile application, which also notifies them of any malfunctions and other events. These are logged to an MS SQL database.
