Visualization and control of a luxury single-family home in the city of Ceske Budejovice (Budweis)

In 2009–2010, a new building automation control system was installed in a luxury single-family home in Budweis. The installation included the implementation of the Reliance 4 SCADA/HMI system, which provides reliable visualization of the building automation processes.

The control system consists of three control cabinets. The main control cabinet is equipped with a Tecomat Foxtrot CP-1004 device and peripherals while the other two cabinets are equipped with external master buses, peripherals, and electrical wiring. The visualization project is displayed on a TOUCH 51/PCB touch screen mounted on the wall in the hall.

The home's interior

The SCADA-based control system, created in the Mosaic development environment and the Reliance 4 SCADA/HMI system, provides visualization and control of:

• Indoor lighting system controlled by PIR motion sensors
• Intensity of the outdoor lighting system controlled by outdoor photosensors
• Window blinds throughout the house (roll up and down, open, close)
• Outdoor awning (roll up, roll down)
• Underfloor heating that can be adjusted individually for each room
• Retractable pool cover
• Artificial wave system in the pool
• Reporting emergency conditions in the pool
• Chimney retracting system of the interior fireplace
• Remote access and communication over a GSM communicator (reporting important alarms/events to the owner's cell phone)
• Remote access over the Internet
• Electronic security alarm system
• Light switches, electric outlets, television aerial and system controls
• Integrated web server used for control from the owner's iPhone
