In 2016, a new cultural facility named Active Center was built in the South Moravian village of Ratiskovice. The Active Center is designed to play a crucial role in the development of the cultural life of the village.
The center is closely connected to the adjacent sports field. In addition to the construction of the Active Center, work included the reconstruction of the existing boiler room, which supplies heat to the center and also, for example, to the indoor swimming pool.
Ratiskovice Active Center
The system for the control and visualization of the new boiler room with a cogeneration unit, heat distribution to the buildings Banik and Active Center, and lighting control for the Active Center is provided with the Tecomat Foxtrot control system and the Reliance SCADA/HMI system. The control and visualization system was implemented by ELG-ELECTRIC. The GEOVAP company was responsible for developing software for the control system and for creating the visualization project.
Ratiskovice Active Center – installation of a new control system
The control system is installed in three control cabinets located in the Active Center and the boiler room. Data exchange between the PLCs is performed through PLCNet. The control cabinet in the Active Center's heat exchange station is equipped with an HMI panel (ID-36), which is used to locally control and visualize the respective systems.
All data from the control system is passed to the operator's PC equipped with Reliance 4 Control Server. This computer is located in the custodian's room. Using visualization screens, the Reliance SCADA/HMI system allows the operator to monitor individual processes and alarm reports, set parameters, and use reports to view historical data. The operator can also access the visualization project and data via Reliance 4 Smart Client.
