Visualization and control of beer flow meters at the O2 universum convention center in Prague

The O2 universum is a convention and multi-purpose center in Prague located next to the O2 arena. The center opened in 2019. Its interior has many halls, the largest of which is used to host concerts and sporting events and has a maximum capacity of 4,500 attendees.
The new building also boasts a system for the control and monitoring of beer consumption during sporting, cultural, or social events.
Control system
The system consists of a single Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC and the Reliance SCADA/HMI system. It allows operators to do the following on an on-site touch screen:
- Monitor the outflow of beer at each bar and tap
- Perform sanitization
- Monitor the amount of beer in tanks (when one tank is depleted, the system automatically switches to the next tank)
