Pilsner Urquell Brewery is the leading brewing company in Central Europe and the foremost producer of beer. In addition, it is the largest Czech beer exporter. Its brand beer is exported to almost 50 countries all over the world.
Through its brands Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Radegast, and Velkopopovicky Kozel, Plzensky Prazdroj sells more beer on the Czech market than any other company. The Czech company MCAT AUTOMATION implemented a new system for the monitoring of enterprise energy consumption in Pilsner Urquell Brewery.
The new system provides monitoring and measuring of the consumption of:
All measuring sites are equipped with Inmat devices, which are connected to Tecomat PLCs. All data gathered from the PLCs is transferred into the Reliance SCADA/HMI system. The Reliance system also acts as a DDE server for the InSQL database where the data is stored.
Consumption measured with the main energy meter. The top part displays the energy meter data. The power consumption trend shows data of the last quarter.
Data transferred from the Inmat devices used for the measuring of vapor consumption. The red-framed values indicate that there is an error in communication between the Inmat and Tecomat devices.
The hot water level in two tanks. The minimum and maximum water level can be set by the operating personnel. The water pump automatically fills or empties both water tanks according to the maximum and minimum water levels.
Power consumption data from all measuring sites
