Mitsubishi Communication Driver

Mitsubishi Communication Driver is intended for data connection between Reliance's runtime software and Mitsubishi control systems (series FX, A, Q, L, iQ-R) through Ethernet. There are two communication protocols available: MELSEC A compatible 1E and MELSEC QnA compatible 3E, both in binary encoding.

The communication driver allows reading and writing from/to the following digital registers

S, X, Y, M, L, B, F, V, TS, TC, CS, CC and word registers D, R, TN, CN, Z, W

Supported Reliance versions

The communication driver is supported in both Reliance 5 and Reliance 4.

Supported data types

BOOL, BYTE, WORD, DWORD, SHORTINT, SMALLINT, LONGINT, LARGEINT, FLOAT, DOUBLEFLOAT, STRING, TIMESPAN

The Reliance Design development environment allows you to import tags from the development environment for Mitsubishi GX Works in the CSV file format.
