Boiler Room – heating of the GEOVAP building
This page enables you to try out a real-time visualization of the Boiler Room, which is situated in the GEOVAP company building. You can run the visualization inside your Web browser and view the real-time process data, which is provided by one Tecomat NS 946 PLC device. The visualization is provided by Reliance 4 Web Client.

Starting the real-time visualization
Please start download the applet program files by clicking the hyperlink below. Subsequently will display the progress bar of downloaded visualization files. After downloading of all necessary files (about 3 MB) will display the new window with Boiler-room. After that, only process data will be transferred between the Web client and the Web server.
Before you start the real-time visualization, please, make sure that you have Java Runtime Environment (JRE), version 6.0 or higher, installed on your computer. The JRE enables your computer to start the Boiler Room visualization properly. For more information go to Java Runtime Environment official website.

Description of the visualized technology
The opening window represents the Boiler Room of the GEOVAP company building and its heating technology (boiler room premises, heating of the offices and outside temperature).
In the boiler room premises, there are three gas furnaces, furnace pumps and circulating pumps of the supply-water. The temperatures of the go-and-return lines and hot water output in the hot water circuit are measured by sensing devices. Preheated water from the hot water circuit flows into the west and east side hot water pipelines and heats the offices. The water temperature is measured by sensing devices here, too. The last two sensing devices measure the outdoor temperatures (on the east and west side).
The heating technology overview can be displayed by clicking on the "Technology button".
By clicking on the "Temp. trends button", you can display three real-time trends. They represent:
- The temperature of the output water in the hot water circuit
- The temperature of the input water in the west and east side hot water pipelines
- The temperature of the outside surroundings
