Wastewater Treatment Plant Prelouc

Description of implementation

In 2002, a new wastewater treatment plant was built in the East-Bohemian town Prelouc. The entire control system of the wastewater treatment plant was implemented by Czech company PROTECO s.r.o. Wastewater pretreatment and control of the blow pump room provides one PLC TECOMAT NS 950 in conjuction with CMP 2B - central unit device. Other PLC TECOMAT NS 950 in conjuction with second central unit device CMP 1D provides entire sludge management of the wastewater treatment plant.

All important data from control system of the wastewater treatment station are transfered to the Dispatching Centre of the Vodovody a Kanalizace a.s., the joint-stock company, via radio data communication. The SCADA-based Dispatching Centre of the Vodovody a Kanalizace a.s. was equiped with Reliance system for this purpose. Although the technology applied in the Control System of the wastewater treatment station is highly complex, the unmanned remote control of the entire wastewater treatment plant has been achieved.
