In 2000 a new control system of wastewater treatment plant for Podebrady was implemented by Sigmainvest, spol. s r.o. The Sigmainvest, spol. s r.o. engineering division from the city of Olomouc handled design and implementation. This includes high power distribution and construction of metering and regulation stations of the wastewater plant.
Reliance – Industrial SCADA/HMI system is installed on a computer in the control room
The plant is controlled by one PLC Tecomat NS950. Tecomat NS950 device is connected to a SCADA-based computer, located in the control room, via serial link. Reliance - Industrial SCADA/HMI system is installed on this computer for a reliable control of entire wastewater treatment plant.
The control room handles control and monitoring of all wastewater treatment plant devices. A computer with a SCADA system controls entire wastewater treatment plant operation. It also enables saving of all working data for later analysis. Installation of the Reliance SCADA/HMI system was implemented by Proteco s.r.o., a company from the city of Pardubice engaged in the SCADA/HMI system business.
