Jihoceske Papirny Vetrni, a.s.:
JIP - Papirny Vetrni, a.s. (South-Bohemian Paper Mill) is part of an old tradition in paper-making in South Bohemia. In 1870, a wood chipping factory was built on the site of the former Peckov Mill, which was later extended to include the production of paper-pulp.

JIP - entered the third millennium as a reputable company, building on its traditions of consistent quality and solid business relationships, which it aims to develop into long-term prospects. Printing and wrapping papers are sold successfully, not only in the Czech Republic: JIP's products are also prized by customers from all over the world for their excellent quality.
Description of implementation:
In 2005, a system to control corporate energy consumption was implemented by the Elektroprojekce Company. The control system provides a dependable control of 6,4/1,2MPa + 1,2/0,3MPa reduction stations, and 15MVA pressure steam turbine. Communication among the PLC devices is provided via CANbus. Communication between the PLC devices and SCADA–based system is provided via TCP/IP protocol.
Reliance SCADA was installed on the control's room computer, in order to provide reliable control of the energy consumption. The production technology equipment, which is connected to the control computer, is under the control of Reliance SCADA. The entire production technology is constantly monitored via the advanced Reliance visualization. The Data server has the following functions: creating the users scripts, saving and archiving data and providing system maintenance. The SCADA-based system provides control of the: boiler room, generator room, main switch room, chemical water works, neutralization of the sewerage water, water-station and compressor room.
