Air-conditioning and heating control system for production halls at B.V. Metaalgaasweverij Dinxperlo, Netherlands

Dinxperlo Wire Weaving Co. is a well-known manufacturer of wire mesh and cloth, wire, synthetic mesh, filters and sieves. Woven wire products are used for various purposes in a wide range of industries, and Dinxperlo’s meshes, cloths and sieves are well-known for their countless technical applications. The Dinxperlo range comprises a wide variety of types and variations. Our extensive production facilities enable us to handle all sorts of metals and alloys, with different mesh sizes and wire diameter, both woven and welded. Dinxperlo carries a vast range of wire mesh and cloth to meet the many and varied requirements of our highly diverse customers.

Control system

The system was developed to cut costs on energy expenditure. Due to changing shifts the heating was on continuously and inefficient. Now, with Reliance SCADA in place, the heaters in all 11 production departments are controlled independently. On top of that, the temperature is optimally adjusted to the outside temperature. Reliance allows the operator to program all heaters from one central location. The system can switch the heating schedule between day-time, 2 shifts, 3 shifts and holiday. Reliance also provides functionality to monitor the temperature curves and functionality to keep track of the operation times of the heaters.
