Dairy Hlinsko

Mlekarna Hlinsko, s.r.o. (Dairy Hlinsko) is well-known producer of milk products in the Czech Republic. The Dairy was founded in 1939 by Swiss company Nestlé S.A. The Dairy company started with production of powdered milk, children's milk, buttermilk and sweetened condensed milk soon after its foundation. The production continues till 1948. In early 1949 the company is nationalized by the state. Forty-four years later, four years after Velvet revolution in the Czech Republic is the Dairy company privatized again. New owner became Mlekarna Hlinsko, s.r.o. which continues with production of well-established milk products to the present day.

Description of the implementation:

New Control System of Dairy cooling technology was installed during 2004. SCADA-based Control System was implemented by Czech company Energie MaR s.r.o. Complete control of entire technology provides one Landis RWP80 PLC device which is connected with Control Computer placed in Supervisory Room. Control Computer with Reliance SCADA system installed provides visualization and control of entire cooling technology. The operators have perfect overview of entire cooling system technology thanks to transparent visualizations created in Reliance. The system also provides saving of all necessary data for further analysis.
