Complete system for monitoring and controlling mill technologies in Baranovichi, Belarus

In the spring 2009, a complete reconstruction of the old mill in Baranovichi, Belarus was carried out. The reconstruction included a total redesign of the mill technology, wiring system installation, and implementation of a Control System that provides control of the treatment plant. The reconstruction was finished in the second half of 2009 with the installation of systems for control of milling, blending and packaging processes.

Control of the Baranovichi mill production process and its technology is provided by the B&R X20 CPU 3485-1 PLC device and two B&R PPC720 panel PCs with 19" touch screen that are installed on the wall in the control room. The Reliance SCADA/HMI system installed on these panel PCs provides reliable monitoring and control of all flour mill processes. The visualization windows created in the Reliance system enable the operators to have a perfect overview of each particular process.
