Winners of the best Reliance success story competition

The Reliance Team announced a competition for the best Reliance success story at the end of 2009. The original deadline, which was 28th of February 2010, has been extended several times because of great interest from competitors.

In total, thirteen very interesting installations have been registered to the success story competition. So, it was not easy to decide which three installations win valuable prizes. After a detailed study of all registered descriptions, the competition was finally evaluated last week. The whole Reliance Team participated in this evaluation. Each committee member voted for the three most interesting applications. Then all votes were counted and evaluated.

The main criterions for evaluation were:

• Field of usage
• Benefits for the end user
• Installation range (the number of tags, the number of licenses)
• Graphical design of the visualization
• Image documentation included with the description (visualization screens, photographs of the Control Room, production plant, production line, etc.)
• A data connection with other information systems used by the customer (ERP Systems, MES Systems, CIS Systems, etc.)
• Thin Clients used in a project
