IAS 2006

The two days of the Industrial Automation Solutions exhibition were a great success. IAS 2006 was the second edition and took place in Nieuwegein (NL) in the NBC Building (Nieuwegeins Business Centre). Over one hundred exhibitors exposed their products on the exhibition. The IAS exhibition always has a special design. During the day, visitors got the chance to attend to different briefings that were held every hour. The briefing program consisted of three parallel tracks including Plant Floor Automation, SCADA/DCS and MES. In total there were 30 different briefings. The presentations were held about customer success stories during the briefings. Between the sessions there were enough possibilities to spend time on the exhibition floor and visit all the different booths.

On the Hiflex booth, there was a lot of interest in the Reliance SCADA system. Especially the introduction offer for new customers was a great success. The introduction offer included a runtime and development key and a two day training course in the Hiflex training centre. In total almost 1600 people visited the exhibition and next year it will definitely be more!
